How to add custom lists to pfBlockerNG (DNSBL)
- Open the Package Manager and install pfBlockerNG-devel if its not installed already.
- Open pfBlockerNG and go to DNSBL >> DNSBL Groups.
- Click add then fill out Name / Description.
- Under DNSBL Source Definitions add the lists you want, Make sure you set the state to ON. The Source is the URL/URI of the list and Header/Label is the Gategory name (Must have no spaces).
- Under Settings make sure action is set to Unbound and Logging / Blocking Mode is set to DNSBL WebServer/VIP.
- Save DNSBL settings.
- Go to Update and select Cron and run it. This runs a CRON task, check the Status and AVOID Running the "Force" options when CRON is about to run.
- Thats it! after the CRON task is finished the domains in the lists should be blocked. If there are false entires like a parked domain in the ads list or there are missing domains go over to Classification/Reclassification and send a request to fix it.
